  1. Run the Pageant daemon<\/b> that will listen to a putty SSH connection.<\/li>\n
  2. Right click the Pageant icon<\/b> from the taskbar that can be identified like the following:

  3. Select Add Key<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  4. Browse and select the target private key<\/b> (i.e. ppk file).<\/i>
    \nNote: If you don\u2019t have a private key generated you can follow the procedure from <\/i>    Generating Putty SSH Key Pair<\/i><\/a>.<\/i><\/li>\n
  5. Supply the passphrase of the key<\/b> if required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Passing the Private Key upon running the Pageant Daemon<\/b><\/p>\n

    Every time at a pageant daemon was started the private key must be added. To simplify this, we can add the private key as a parameter on the target field<\/b> of the shortcut of the pageant daemon like the following:<\/p>\n
