    2. Move the mouse cursor on the <\/span>blank area<\/span> provided by the generator.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Update the <\/span>Key comment<\/span> field if desired.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Provide an identical passphrase to the following fields if desired:<\/span>\n

      • Key passphrase<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

        • Confirm passphrase<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Click <\/span>Save private key<\/span> button.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Click <\/span>Save public key<\/span> if desired. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              The content of public key file is the one to be copied on the server with the following format:<\/p>\n

              ssh-rsa <CONTINUOUS_PUBLIC_KEY> <KEY_COMMENT><\/pre>\n
              And the file normally have the following format:<\/p>\n
              ---- BEGIN SSH2 PUBLIC KEY ----\r\nComment: <KEY_COMMENT>\r\n<DELIMITED_PUBLIC_KEY>\r\n---- END SSH2 PUBLIC KEY ----<\/pre>\n
              You are reading it right, in the file, the public key (i.e. DELIMITED_PUBLIC_KEY)<\/span> is delimited by a carriage return. Thus, you need to remove it to have the CONTINUOUS_PUBLIC_KEY.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
